The Horde

OK, my previous post have shown you some of what my current painting and long time projects are, with this post I'm going to show you some of my Orc and Goblin Horde. Its backbone is made up early slotta based orcs and Black Mountain Boyz, a Regiments of Renown. for the blunt hard edge I've a large force of Nick Lund's Black orcs for various manufacturer - Grenadier, Chronicle , Citadel's and another Regiment of Renown - Eeza Ugezod's Mother Crushers. Don't you just love Stuff of Legends website - thanks Orclord/ Richard.

Black Orc spears, I tend to use them as Big-uns.

With their deep formations their very difficult to shift!

  1. Such an awesome waaaaaagh! They really have an old skool vibe Paul. 😎

  2. `Thanks once again Tom, yes there's a few of them, most painted over the last thirty years or so, hence the vibe. More to come in my next few posts.

  3. Following your blog now Paul. Great painting, I always prefer gloss and nice bright colours. Nick Lund is one of my favorite sculptors too, but I tend to put most of his stuff in my Currenthammer armies rather than in with the really old stuff.

  4. Thanks for the kind comments, if it don't stand-out who's going to see it. As for Nick Lund's miniature for me they just hit the button, hence I've lots of them.
